The Purist Cabernet Sauvignon 2025

Sourced from vines growing on ironstone gravel soil in a well sheltered area of our vineyard. This unique terroir provides the perfect conditions for growing premium Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon. Once fully ripened the fruit was gently crushed and fermented on skins, without the addition of any preservatives or cultured yeasts. After extended skin contact, the wine was basket pressed and aged for 6 months prior to bottling. No fining agents or filtration were used at any stage during the production, resulting in no loss of natural flavours or tannins. The result is a dark, rich and complex wine that does not need extensive aging. It displays soft tannins and beautiful rich berry characters.

The Purist Syrah 2025

The wine is called Syrah (French for Shiraz) rather than Shiraz. This lighter, dry style is reminiscent of Syrah wine from southern France (Rhone) rather than big bold Aussie Shiraz – even though the grapes are the same. It is the result of our cooler Margaret River climate and picking the fruit at a slightly lower Baume of 12.4. The fruit was gently crushed and fermented on skins without the addition of any preservatives or cultured yeasts. The wine is unoaked and displays bright, fresh fruit character and finishes long and clean.

The Purist Merlot 2025

The 2020 Purist Merlot was our very first 100% Natural, Preservative Free wine made by visiting French Winemaker Antoine Lefevre. It was here that the Purist concept of wild fermentation, zero sulphites and minimal intervention was born. The success of this wine led to the development of the entire Purist range of wines. Given that we only have a very small block of Merlot, this wine is usually blended with Cabernet. In 2025 though we had enough Merlot fruit to make a small batch of wine entirely from this wonderful grape. Rich, soft and smooth this is a wine for true Merlot lovers or wine lovers who would like to experience just how good a 100% natural, single block Margaret River Merlot can be.

The Purist Cabernet, Merlot, Malbec 2025

In 2025 we decided to add Malbec sourced from a neighboring vineyard to our popular Cabernet Merlot wine, to create a true Bordeaux blend – done as a 100%, natural sulphite-free wine. Malbec is considered angels dust by many winemakers as its addition adds depth and richness to virtually any red wine blend. That’s exactly what it did to ours! The addition of 33% Malbec has made this wine more complex, richer and darker! It is a truly exciting addition to our red wine portfolio.

The Purist Cabernet Merlot 2024

A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, this wine is sourced from a single block of grapes growing together on Iron Stone gravel soil in a sheltered part of our vineyard. This terroir provides perfect conditions for growing premium Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. The grapes were harvested at perfect ripeness, gently crushed and wild fermented on skins, without the addition of any sulphites or cultured yeasts. After extended skin contact, the wine was basket pressed and aged for 6 months prior to bottling. No fining agents or filtration were used at any stage during the production, resulting in no loss of natural flavours or tannins. The result is a rich and complex wine that has continued to develop in bottle and is now ready for consumption. As a 100% natural wine, it matures more quickly than conventionally made wine and is best consumed within three years or so from vintage. Stored in a cool dark place the wine will remain sound and unspoiled whilst continuing to develop character.

The Purist Dry Rose 2025

This 100% natural, preservative free dry rose is an exciting new addition to our Purist range. Sourced from estate grown shiraz grapes, the wine has a vibrant pink colour, with excellent depth of flavour and a long, crisp finish. Served ice cold, it pairs perfectly with a wide range of cheeses, entrees and canapes.

The Purist Chardonnay 2024

This 100% natural, preservative free chardonnay is sourced from one of the Margaret River region’s finest blocks of Gin Gin clone chardonnay grapes. This unoaked wine displays a light straw colour, with intense citrus flavours and a long, crisp finish. Served ice cold, it pairs perfectly with a wide range of cheeses, entrees and canapes in addition to fish and poultry dishes.

The Purist Amber Chardonay 2025

This complex dry wine was created from a single block of gin-gin clone chardonnay wild fermented on skins for 2 weeks. So it is basically a white wine made like a red wine. It is unoaked and additive free. The wine displays a dark golden colour with a complex dry palate and hints of orange. Pairs well with slightly spicy foods. Serve around 12C for best release of flavour.
